Do you think that glass tile will be as dated as early-1990's hunter green in a few years?? I love the look of it, but wonder about longevity of the design? Will it be "green" glass? Recycled wine bottles perhaps?
I thought about that too, but I don't really care! All I can do is pick something that I love, and probably go with a more "classic" installation like subway tile. The 2nd one up there is my current favorite, and yes, it is recycled!
The second one is gorgeous(sp?). I think you are right, go with what you love, because you will be spending a lot of time in there! With some under cabinet lighting those glass tiles will sparkle. (literally)
